Maccabi Haifa is interested in versatile Austrian defender Emanuel Aiwu, who is expected to leave his current club, SK Sturm Graz. The 25-year-old, who previously played in Italy and England, reportedly has no future at Sturm Graz, where he has been excluded from team training. Aiwu is said to be a candidate to strengthen the defense of Maccabi Haifa, the team that finished fifth in the 'Ligat ha'Al' last season. The defender had moved to Sturm Graz from US Cremonese in the summer of 2024 for a fee of 1.6 million euros. He has 13 caps for the Austria U21 national team and his contract with the Austrian club runs until June 2028. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €800k.
