Eman Marković has stated that he received several interesting offers during the summer transfer window, including proposals from clubs in Norway. He ultimately did not choose to sign for one of the Norwegian clubs.

Attacking midfielder Eman Marković, 26, has completed a transfer from IFK Göteborg to GKS Katowice. The player had been sidelined at the Swedish club due to contract extension issues and was looking for a new team in the summer. He signed a contract with GKS Katowice at the end of August that runs until mid-2028. Marković revealed that he had several interesting offers, including from Norway and Greece, but opted for GKS Katowice after lengthy talks with club officials, who impressed him with their determination and project vision.

Eman Marković, a former youth representative of Norway, is set to join GKS Katowice from the Swedish top league. He is currently in Poland awaiting the results of his medical tests. The transfer is confirmed by multiple sources, including Anel Avdić from 'Expressen', Piotr Koźmiński from Goal.pl, and coach Rafał Górak. Marković is expected to join GKS Katowice as a free agent, as he is not in the plans for the rest of the campaign at IFK Göteborg, with four months remaining on his contract.

Coach Rafał Górak acknowledged the media speculations regarding GKS Katowice's pursuit of Eman Marković from IFK Göteborg, confirming the club's interest. Marković, a Norwegian winger with Bosnian heritage, is said to be considering the transfer after being sidelined at IFK Göteborg due to unsuccessful contract extension negotiations. The initial report about the club's interest was made by Piotr Koźmiński from Goal.pl and later verified by Coach Górak during an interview with Tadeusz Danisz from TVP Katowice. Marković is reportedly keen on joining a club where he can play regularly again, having been benched because his contract is set to expire at the end of the year.

Norwegian winger Eman Markovic, 26, is expected to leave IFK Göteborg during the current transfer window. He spent a successful loan spell at Sandefjord last season, making 30 league appearances. A return to the Norwegian Eliteserien is considered a realistic option. IFK Göteborg are open to his departure if their valuation is met and playing time is guaranteed. His contract with the Swedish club is set to expire on December 31, 2025, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €600k.
