Sport.ro reported that Elvir Koljic will leave Rapid because his contract will not be extended. The non-extension of his contract is a result of Koljic's modest performances at Giulești. Koljic was transferred to Rapid from Universitatea Craiova in February of the previous year for 100,000 euros.

Elvir Koljic has scored five goals and provided three assists in 31 matches, but the management of Rapid is not satisfied with his performance. According to gsp.ro, Elvir Koljic is certain to leave Rapid at the end of the season.

Marius Șumudică, the coach of Rapid București, does not want Elvir Koljic to remain at the club if he continues as the coach beyond the summer. This indicates a potential transfer or release from the club. Currently, Transfermarkt estimates his market value at 700k euros.
