Górnik Zabrze is interested in signing 19-year-old Elton Fikaj, an Albanian-Greek youth international with 13 caps for Albania's U21 team who plays for Panathinaikos. Several Greek Super League clubs are also interested in the left defender, but he prefers a move abroad, with the Polish Ekstraklasa seen as the most probable destination. Fikaj has made five appearances for the Panathinaikos first team but plays mainly for the reserves and U-19 squad. The Greek club is open to his departure but wants a potential deal to include a percentage of a future sale and a buy-back option. While Górnik is considered the favorite, another unnamed Polish club is also competing to sign him. Fikaj joined Panathinaikos in July 2024 and his contract runs until June 2028. His current Transfermarkt valuation is €300k.
