Tuchel said he believes there is a high likelihood the matter will be settled before the round of 16. He added that there were no concerns regarding Anderson's fitness, as the medical department gave its approval and he is injury-free. The transfer fee is reportedly 135 million euros, which would be a record for an English player. Anderson is said to be set to receive a salary of almost 350,000 euros per week.

Elliot Anderson is expected to attract interest from other clubs in the summer, and Forest will face competition to keep the player. When asked if he expects the England international to be at the club next season, manager Vitor Pereira said that he does not have the answer.
