Elias Saad Transfer from FC Augsburg to Hertha BSC
Hertha BSC is considering acquiring 26-year-old Elias Saad from FC Augsburg. The left winger is said to match the profile Hertha is looking for due to his dribbling strength. Saad moved to Augsburg from FC St. Pauli last summer for a fee of two million euros and is under contract until 2029. Because he has had a limited role at his current club, he is reportedly allowed to leave this winter. The Tunisian international has made 10 Bundesliga appearances this season and provided one assist. Due to financial difficulties, Hertha can only pursue a loan deal. For a loan to be possible, Hertha would first need to transfer players out, with Augustin Rogel, Tim Hoffmann, and Julian Eitschberger mentioned as players who could potentially depart. Saad has earned 11 caps for Tunisia, scoring 3 goals. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €4.00m.
