According to César Luis Merlo, Xolos Tijuana have signed Botafogo forward Elías Manoel.

Elias Manoel, a 24-year-old Brazilian centre-forward, will not return to Santa Clara (Portugal) and his future will be decided in the coming weeks. He is currently on loan at the Portuguese club from Botafogo until June 30, 2026, and his contract with the Brazilian side expires on December 31, 2027. In the 2025/2026 Liga Portugal season, Manoel made 15 appearances, scoring 3 goals. His current Transfermarkt market value is €1.50m.
