Elias Filet chose to join Belgian side RAAL La Louviere. His decision was prompted by concerns about the pace of negotiations with Celtic.

Sacha Tavolieri has revealed that RAAL La Louviere are expected to sign Aarau star Elias Filet. The 24-year-old French striker had offers from elsewhere, and Lorient, Genk and Celtic were also linked with him, but he has been persuaded to join RAAL where former Watford manager Edward Still is. The transfer fee is reported to be approximately €600k, which matches his current Transfermarkt market value. In the 2025/2026 season, Filet scored 20 goals and provided 5 assists in 35 Challenge League appearances. Filet joined the Swiss side Aarau in 2024 from the Croatian side NK Istra 1961. He now joins a RAAL side managed by Edward Still.
