Edwin Cerrillo, a 25-year-old Mexican-American midfielder, has joined América from LA Galaxy. The player arrived at Coapa on Monday and conducted his first training session under the guidance of Guillermo Almada. Having been a regular player for his former club, which he joined in August 2023, Cerrillo joins with match fitness. América has registered its recent signing for the Leagues Cup, and it is not ruled out that he could make his debut as early as this Thursday. The midfielder has one cap for the USA U23 national team and his current Transfermarkt market value is €3.50m.
