Sport.ro reports that Edvinas Gertmonas, who was designated the best goalkeeper in the Superliga, has signed with Servette FC as a free agent. Servette FC announced the arrival of the 29-year-old Lithuanian international from FC Universitatea Cluj. According to the club's announcement, Gertmonas signed a contract valid until 2029 and will wear the number 1 shirt.

Servette has arranged to sign Edvinas Gertmonas as a successor for Joël Mall, who has moved to YB. The 29-year-old Lithuanian national goalkeeper, who has 25 caps for his country, is set to join on a free transfer from Romanian club Universitatea Cluj, as his contract there expires this summer. Upon his arrival, he will compete with Captain Jérémy Frick for the starting goalkeeper position in the coming season. According to Transfermarkt, Gertmonas has a current market value of €1.40m.
