Sassuolo are searching for a right-back and have identified Ignace Van der Brempt of Como as a target. An agreement on the transfer formula is required, as Como has not been convinced by Sassuolo's current proposal of a loan with a right to buy. Como may be more interested in a permanent departure for the Belgian player, who was born in 2002. Van der Brempt joined Como in July 2025, and his contract is valid until June 2028. He has 15 caps and one goal for the Belgium U21 national team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3.00m. During a previous transfer window, Napoli and Lens were also linked with the player.
