ACF Fiorentina has announced that 19-year-old Italian defender Edoardo Sturli will join Serie D club ChievoVerona temporarily for the 2026/27 season. The Tuscan club stated that it had transferred the sporting rights for the player, who was born in 2007. ChievoVerona also released a statement welcoming Sturli, describing him as a right-sided player who has great pace and athletic qualities. The club added that he developed in Fiorentina's youth system and contributed to the Primavera team's recent Italian championship title, having made 16 appearances in the competition last season. Sturli has made two appearances for the Italy U16 national team.
