Modena is seeking to reinforce its attack after selling Pedro Mendes to a club in Turkey. Andrea Belotti is the club's preferred target. If a deal for Belotti is not completed, the club is also evaluating Edoardo Soleri. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Emilian club is interested in the Italian forward, who was born in 1997 and became a free agent after leaving Spezia before the transfer window closed. Over the summer, Soleri was linked to several Serie B clubs, including Ascoli, Avellino, and particularly Vicenza. The forward has two caps for the Italy U20 team and is aiming to redeem himself after a season in which he scored one goal in 30 matches for Spezia and Sampdoria. It is uncertain if he will do so at Modena or another club. According to Transfermarkt, Soleri's current market value is €300k.
