A report from the Corriere dello Sport states that Catanzaro is seeking to sign a left-sided player and has identified Edoardo Masciangelo, a 29-year-old Italian at Frosinone, as a target. For the position, Masciangelo is one of two profiles the club is interested in, with the other being Nikolas Ioannou of Sampdoria. The player joined Frosinone in July 2025 and has made 9 appearances in Serie B in the current season. Pescara has also been linked with Masciangelo, whose market value is €250k according to an estimate by Transfermarkt.
