The midfielder Edimilson Fernandes is reportedly on the verge of transferring to BSC Young Boys. The transfer to the 17-time Swiss champion is expected to be finalized at the beginning of the week, according to 'kicker'. Fernandes, who is still under contract with Mainz 05 until 2026, spent the last season on loan at Ligue 1 club Stade Brest. The 29-year-old, a 34-time Swiss international, had previously played for Young Boys during the second half of the 2021/22 season on loan.
