ESPN reported that Grêmio offered a new contract to 35-year-old Brazilian central midfielder Edenílson, extending until the end of 2026. The parties have advanced negotiations and will begin the exchange of documents. The previous contract was set to expire at the end of this year. Edenílson, who has two caps for Brazil, joined Grêmio in April 2024. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €600k.
