Rapid is nearing an agreement to transfer left-back Ebenezer Annan from Saint Etienne to replace Andrei Borza following his departure. Coach Daniel Pancu is reportedly looking for another player for the position. Annan, a 23-year-old Ghana international, began his football career at Bologna. He has been with the French club since last year after they paid 2 million euros to sign him from Red Star Belgrade. Annan has earned 7 caps for the Ghana national team. His contract with Saint-Étienne is valid until June 30, 2028, and his market value is €1.80m, according to Transfermarkt.
