Rangers want to secure Dujon Sterling’s future at Ibrox, despite the English right-back having a deal that runs until 2028. Former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown told the publication that club officials are determined to keep the defender after his performances. Rangers have initiated plans to reward the 26-year-old defender with a long-term deal following an impressive start under Derek McInnes at Ibrox. A longer agreement could reward his form and give Rangers protection if interest develops. Sterling joined Rangers in July 2023 and has been capped by England at U20 level. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €2.50m. Bristol City have recently been linked with the player.
