Duje Ćaleta-Car, a 30-year-old Croatian international defender leaving Lyon, was proposed to the entire Greek 'Big 4' at the beginning of August. Panathinaikos was linked with the player approximately two weeks ago but it appears that move will not proceed, while PAOK has since decided on Diego Costa. This leaves AEK as the only Greek team pursuing Ćaleta-Car, and according to the Greek-French agent scene, there is a strong possibility he will join a Greek club by early September.
