Maccabi Tel Aviv offered 31-year-old Israeli international Dor Peretz a new, improved contract. The contract is reportedly a three-year deal with the possibility of an extension for another year. The new contract is not at the salary level he would receive at Dinamo Zagreb. Israeli media report that Maccabi Tel Aviv is doing everything to keep Peretz at the club and that he has not yet agreed to join Dinamo or any other club. It is expected that a final decision on his future will be made soon. The central midfielder has 55 caps and 9 goals for his country. He rejoined the club in August 2022, scoring 11 goals and providing 2 assists in 23 league appearances during the 2025/2026 season. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.60m, and he has also recently been linked with clubs such as Omonia Nicosia and Ferencváros.
