Arda Kardzhali announced that Bulgarian national team player Dominik Yankov has transferred to the club and signed a three-year contract.

Dominic Iankov is transferring permanently from Rijeka to Arda Kardzhali. The move is not a loan, and it is specified that Iankov will not be returning to Lokomotiva. Rijeka will get 20 percent of any future sale of the player.

Rijeka's sports director, Darko Raić Sudar, said at a press conference that discussions are underway about terminating the contract with 25-year-old attacking midfielder Dominik Yankov. The Bulgarian international joined the club in July 2025 on a contract to June 2028 and has not made an appearance in the SuperSport HNL in the 2025/2026 season. Yankov has 17 caps for Bulgaria and a current market value of €500k, according to Transfermarkt.
