Rijeka's sports director, Darko Raić Sudar, said at a press conference that discussions are underway about terminating the contract with 25-year-old attacking midfielder Dominik Yankov. The Bulgarian international joined the club in July 2025 on a contract to June 2028 and has not made an appearance in the SuperSport HNL in the 2025/2026 season. Yankov has 17 caps for Bulgaria and a current market value of €500k, according to Transfermarkt.
