Dominik Dogan Transfer from Rijeka to Velež Nevesinje

Index.hr reports on Dominik Dogan's transfer from Rijeka to Velež on loan. Dominik Dogan has left Rijeka to join Velež on loan. This move was confirmed by the Bosnian club on their official website. Dogan, a former standout player in the SuperSport 1. NL, struggled to secure a place in the Croatian champion's lineup and is now seeking more playing time in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Dominik Dogan is reportedly close to leaving Rijeka and signing with Mostar's Velež. According to Sportsport.ba, negotiations are still ongoing, and it should be known in the next few days whether Dogan will become a new player for the Bosnian Premier League club. Dogan joined Rijeka at the start of last season from Zrinskog Osječko as the top scorer in Croatia's second division, but he has not been able to replicate that form at Rijeka.

Dominik Dogan is not in Rijeka's plans and is likely to join Velež as a replacement for Mihalea Mlinarić, who moved to Sarajevo. Rijeka may prefer a future sales percentage over a transfer fee, and a loan could remove Dogan from their wage bill. Velež's new coach, Goran Sablić, is involved in the negotiations. Dogan's move to Mostar is expected soon, which could be beneficial for both clubs and the player.
