Dominick Zator Transfer from Korona Kielce to Arka Gdynia

Dominick Zator has been presented as a new player of Arka Gdynia. He joined them as a free transfer from Korona Kielce. The team from the Pomeranian Voivodeship announced after their promotion to Ekstraklasa that they need to make several transactions to compete with rivals. However, their financial situation does not allow for cash transfers, so they focus on signing players who are free agents. Zator made a good impression during trials with the coaching staff led by Dawid Szwarga, leading to a contract valid until June 30, 2027.

Dominick Zator participated in tests with Arka Gdynia on June 11, and after 10 days, it was indicated by Mateusz Hawrot from Meczyki.pl that the parties reached an agreement on contract terms. The transfer is expected to be a free transfer as his contract with Korona Kielce expires on June 30.

Dominick Zator is currently undergoing sports tests ahead of a potential move to Arka Gdynia. Zator, a Canadian-Polish central defender, recently played for Korona Kielce. Last season, he faced health issues which restricted him to only eleven appearances, including one for the third-tier reserves. Although he has since recovered, he has remained a substitute. Arka Gdynia, having secured promotion to the Ekstraklasa, is looking to strengthen their squad and is considering Zator for a transfer. After narrowly missing out on promotion the previous year, the club achieved their goal this season by finishing at the top of the table. Zator, who is also capable of playing in wide positions, was signed by Korona Kielce in the 2022/2023 season from York United FC. He has participated in 58 Ekstraklasa matches, scoring once and providing two assists.
