According to transfer market insider Fabrizio Romano, West Ham United have agreed a deal to sign their former Academy player Divine Mukasa from Manchester City on a straight loan agreement for the 2026/27 season. West Ham United do not hold a buy option clause in the agreement, having agreed terms with the 18-year-old on Thursday.

West Ham are close to an agreement to sign 18-year-old English and Lithuanian Manchester City midfielder Divine Mukasa on loan until the end of the season. The versatile FA Youth Cup winner is considered one of the brightest talents in City's academy and can play as an attacking midfielder, on the right wing, or as a centre forward. Mukasa spent the second half of last season on loan at Leicester City, where he recorded two goals and three assists across 15 Championship appearances. He also made his senior debut for Manchester City last season, featuring in six games. His contract with Manchester City is valid until 2030, and his Transfermarkt market value is €5.00m. Mukasa has also been capped 11 times for the England U19 team, scoring three goals.
