Al-Ittihad have officially announced that Dion Lopy has arrived from Almería. The Saudi club announced in a video published on their social networks that Dion Lopy has signed for three seasons, until 2029. According to several Spanish media, the transfer is estimated at 13 million euros. Almería reportedly also negotiated 10% on a future resale of Dion Lopy, who leaves Liga2 for the Saudi Pro League after three seasons with the Andalusian club.

According to AS, Dion Lopy's transfer from Unión Deportiva Almería to Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia is imminent, and the player is expected to leave the Spanish club in the coming hours. The club has reached a preliminary agreement with Al-Ittihad for a fixed transfer fee of 13 million euros, plus six million in easily attainable variables. Almería will also retain a 10% clause on a future sale of Lopy.
