Beşiktaş is reportedly one of several clubs interested in signing Portuguese central defender Diogo Leite. The 27-year-old is available on a free transfer after his contract with Union Berlin expired. Beşiktaş faces competition to sign him from other clubs, including Real Sociedad, Everton, and Eintracht Frankfurt, which are also said to be very interested. Leite has yet to be capped by Portugal at the senior level. He joined Union Berlin from Porto in July 2023 for a reported €7.5 million. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €12.00m. In the summer of 2025, Union Berlin reportedly asked for €12-13 million, while in January 2026, Lazio was said to have offered €2.5 million.
