Bosnian midfielder Dino Besirovic, 31, has an expiring contract. He states that he has not heard anything about a contract extension from AIK and that nothing has changed. Besirovic says he really likes being at the club and wants to stay, but no one has talked to him. He says that two or three months ago, AIK told him they had no plans for him and wanted younger players, and there has been no communication since then. Fredrik Wisur Hansen, AIK's recruitment chief, says there has been a dialogue with Besirovic over a period, but there have been no updates since their last conversation. Wisur Hansen says that if asked directly, he wants Besirovic to stay, but the decision is delayed due to factors such as the foreign player quota and several expiring contracts. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €500k.
