Lazio is considering two players from the MLS, Diego Luna and Liel Abada, for positions on the flanks. Luna is a 23-year-old United States international. He is a midfielder and is under contract with Real Salt Lake until the end of 2026, while Abada is with Charlotte FC. It is reported that a significant obstacle for a potential transfer involving either player is the high salary they receive in the USA, which Lazio would have to consider. Luna has 18 caps and 4 goals for his country. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €8.00m. This season in the MLS, he has recorded 5 goals and 3 assists in 18 appearances. He has also been linked with a move to Monterrey.
