Both clubs confirmed that Houston Dynamo 2 has loaned United States midfielder Diego Gonzalez to Portland Hearts of Pine of USL League One for the rest of the 2026 season. The 23-year-old has been with the Dynamo organization since joining their academy at age 12. Before his move, he made 11 appearances for Dynamo 2 this season, in which he scored one goal and provided two assists. His contract with Houston Dynamo 2 is set to expire on 31/12/2026.
