Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih has announced the signing of 23-year-old Ukrainian defensive midfielder Denys Pidgurskyi, who was a key player for his former club, Rukh. Last season, Pidgurskyi was a regular starter and sometimes served as team captain. The club's press service stated that a contract has been signed for a two-year term with an option for a one-season extension, and that the financial details of the agreement are not being disclosed. Pidgurskyi has been capped twice for the Ukraine U19 national team and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €500k. Before the transfer, he had been linked with Nürnberg and Kolos Kovalivka.
