Dennis Hadžikadunić Transfer from Rostov to Sampdoria

CalcioMercato reported on the official announcement of Dennis Hadzikadunic's loan transfer to Sampdoria. Sampdoria officially announced the arrival of Dennis Hadzikadunic, a Bosnian-Swedish defender, on loan from Rostov. The club expressed that the player is ready to strengthen the defense, which has faced significant difficulties in the first two days of Serie B. They noted that he joins at no cost to Sampdoria due to the application of Annex 7 of FIFA's 'Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players', which permits players and coaches associated with Russian or Ukrainian clubs to unilaterally suspend their contracts. It was stated that Hadzikadunic would be immediately available for league matches, starting with the match against Cesena. Reports confirmed that he has recovered from a partial tear of the medial collateral ligament of the right ankle and knee and successfully passed medical examinations conducted in Genoa by Dr. Massimo Manara.

Sampdoria has practically completed the signing of Dennis Hadžikadunić from Rostov. He will sign a contract until 2027. The 27-year-old Bosnian defender is considered a substantial profile with physicality and experience in various European leagues. The deal, identified through an algorithm favored by the club's ownership, is set to be finalized shortly, with Hadžikadunić expected to bring valuable experience from his recent stint at Hamburg to strengthen Sampdoria's defensive lineup. According to Transfermarkt, the player has a current market value of €2.00m.
