During a press conference, Konyaspor President Ömer Atiker announced that the club has signed 32-year-old Turkish winger Deniz Türüç as its first mid-season signing, after his time at Başakşehir concluded. Atiker stated that the club's transfer efforts are continuing quickly and that there are plans to make a total of four or five reinforcements. He also added that negotiations with other players are ongoing. Türüç joined Başakşehir in July 2021 and has been capped 12 times for Türkiye, scoring 2 goals. In the current Süper Lig season, he has made 12 appearances and provided one assist. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated to be €700k.
