Following initial reports of their interest by Victor Lessa, Fluminense has submitted a $15 million offer to Los Angeles FC for 31-year-old Gabonese forward Denis Bouanga. The club's management had previously made an offer of around $12 million, which was rejected by the Americans. Los Angeles FC also rejected a $13 million bid from Inter Miami in recent days. The advancement of the negotiation now depends on the Rio de Janeiro club adjusting the payment terms. The Gabonese international has 53 caps and 17 goals for his country. He joined Los Angeles FC in August 2022 from Saint-Étienne for a fee of €4.5 million and is under contract until the end of 2027. His current market value is listed by Transfermarkt as €8.00m.
