Sacha Tavolieri reported that Sønderjyske has become one of the clubs interested in acquiring Dawid Bugaj. Tavolieri mentions that Sønderjyske is considered one of the favorites to sign Bugaj. Bugaj's contract with CF Montréal has slightly more than four months left and will expire. Bugaj moved to CF Montréal on a free transfer in summer 2024 after his contract with SPAL was terminated.

CF Montréal defender Dawid Bugaj, 22, is attracting concrete interest from Danish club Sønderjyske Fodbold. Dutch team FC Groningen is also interested in the Polish player. NK Osijek had previously been interested as well, but are now considered less likely to sign him. Bugaj joined Montréal in July 2024 and has made 14 appearances in the current Major League Soccer season. The former Poland U19 international's contract expires in December 2026, and according to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €600k.
