In the final 48 hours of the transfer window, Wolverhampton Wanderers received official bids for David Møller Wolfe from league rivals Nottingham Forest and Italian club AS Roma. Wolves rejected both approaches for the 23-year-old Norwegian left-back. According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, the club considers Møller Wolfe indispensable in their fight against relegation, and the bids were valued at approximately fourteen million pounds, or just over sixteen million euros. Møller Wolfe joined Wolves in August 2025 for a reported €12 million, and his current contract runs until 2030. He has been a key player in the 2025/2026 Premier League season, making 15 appearances, contributing two goals and one assist, and has earned 18 caps for Norway.
