Héctor David Martínez is joining Defensa y Justicia on loan from River, which owns his rights. The 27-year-old defender spent the last semester playing for Olimpia in Paraguay. He is returning to the club where he won the Copa Sudamericana in 2020. The loan agreement is for 12 months, has no fee, and includes a purchase option of approximately 1 million dollars for 50 percent of his rights.
