David Datro Fofana, a 23-year-old Ivory Coast striker, has been recalled by Chelsea from his loan at Turkish club Karagumruk, as a permanent sale is expected this month. During his time in Turkey, Fofana scored seven goals and is attracting interest from several clubs. Los Angeles FC from Major League Soccer and Belgian club Anderlecht have registered interest, while Championship side Leicester are considering a move for the forward. The forward has been capped three times by his country and is under contract with Chelsea until June 2029. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €5.00m. Chelsea's asking price was reportedly around €18 million in August 2025, and he originally joined the club from Molde in January 2023 for a €12 million fee.
