Juventus Turin is seeking a new centre-forward as Dusan Vlahovic is injured until the end of February and is also expected to leave when his contract ends in the summer. Darwin Núñez, a 26-year-old Uruguayan from Al Hilal, is among the candidates for the position. The list of potential replacements also includes Alexander Sörloth from Atlético Madrid and Lorenzo Lucca from SSC Neapel. Sörloth is reportedly the current favorite for the role. Núñez has 36 caps and 13 goals for his country and has a contract with the Saudi club until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €35.00m. In the current Saudi Pro League season, he has scored 4 goals and provided 3 assists in 8 appearances. He moved to Al Hilal from Liverpool in August 2025 for a reported initial fee of €53 million.
