According to Defensa Central, scouts from Real Madrid watched the Champions League match between Borussia Dortmund and Atalanta on Tuesday, where Dortmund left-back Daniel Svensson was under observation.

According to Team Talk, Real Madrid are interested in and admire Daniel Svensson, who could be available for €35-40million (up to £35m, $47.5m).

Real Madrid will seek to acquire Borussia Dortmund’s Daniel Svensson if they sell left back Fran García. The 23-year-old Swedish left-back joined Dortmund in July 2025 and has a contract until 2029. Leeds United, Inter, and Arsenal have also been linked with the player, for whom Borussia Dortmund reportedly set an asking price of €30 million.
