Daniel Phillips Transfer from Stevenage to Blackburn Rovers

Blackburn Rovers are interested in adding Stevenage midfielder Daniel Phillips in the summer. According to journalist Alan Nixon via his Patreon page, Blackburn were interested in signing Phillips in the winter and made a late inquiry, but the League One side quoted them £1m. Nixon also revealed this price led Blackburn to reduce their interest in the midfielder until at least the summer. The journalist has stated that Blackburn's interest in the 25-year-old continues and that the Stevenage player is a potential summer transfer target. It is believed that Phillips is ready to move to the Championship. Blackburn are reportedly considering him as a replacement for Sondre Tronstad, whose contract is ending, irrespective of the division they are in next season. Phillips is a Trinidad and Tobago international with 26 caps. He joined Stevenage on July 4, 2024, and his contract is valid until June 30, 2026. During the 2025/2026 season, he has made 22 appearances in League One and has a current market value of €225k.
