Daniel Leo Transfer from Crotone to Pontedera

Pontedera has signed defender Daniel Leo from FC Crotone on a temporary basis to strengthen their defense. The Swiss player, who was born in 2001, has made over 100 appearances in Serie C. He previously played for Juventus's youth and Next Gen sides, and subsequently had spells at Foggia, Crotone, and Perugia. A versatile player, Leo can operate as a right-back or a central defender in a three-player defense. He made 10 appearances for Crotone in Group C this season before his loan move. The defender also holds Italian citizenship. His contract with Crotone expires on 30/06/2026, and his market value is €100k, according to Transfermarkt. Vicenza had also been recently linked with the player.
