It is reported that Celtic are interested in Daniel Iversen, a 28-year-old Danish goalkeeper for Preston North End. Martin O’Neill and Mark Fotheringham watched Iversen at Deepdale on Easter Monday during a Championship fixture against Queens Park Rangers. Iversen has been the first-choice goalkeeper since joining on a free transfer from Leicester City last summer. This season, he has made 31 appearances in the Championship. His current contract with Preston North End runs until June 2029, and his Transfermarkt market value is €2.50m.
