Daniel Carvajal leaving Real Madrid?

Dani Carvajal is likely to be Real Madrid’s first departure this summer because club officials have grown frustrated with his unreliable fitness record, according to Fichajes.

Touchline, an English insider profile with over 1.5 million followers on X, reports that Jurgen Klopp has a clear condition for joining Real Madrid. The condition reported is that he wants full authority over all sectors of the first team, including transfer policy. According to the same source, Dani Carvajal would not be wanted by Klopp in this case.

According to El Nacional, Jürgen Klopp is already planning transfers at Real Madrid and would be prepared to sell Dani Carvajal.

According to The Athletic and people close to the player, Dani Carvajal is hesitating between Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the USA, and his formative club. However, no outcome is yet guaranteed.

It has been reported that Dani Carvajal has received significant financial offers but has refused to enter into negotiations. Recent speculation about his trip to Qatar has been dismissed; the visit was to see Joselu and spend time with family, not to negotiate with clubs. The full-back is not considering a transfer to a distant destination outside the competitive elite.

According to a report from Spanish media Fichajes, Dani Carvajal is seriously considering a move to Qatar and recently visited the country to look at the conditions and opportunities for such a move.

Madrid journalist Rodra on ESPN states that Dani Carvajal is one of a key trio at Real Madrid with a future that is considered very uncertain approaching 2026. His contract expires on June 30, 2026. While extensions for Carvajal are not being ruled out, it is also possible he could finish his career away from top-level football, with suggested moves to places like Saudi Arabia or Qatar being considered due to the financial incentives available.

Qatar is mentioned as a possible destination for Dani Carvajal, who is 33 years old and whose contract ends after this season. It is uncertain whether Real Madrid will make him a new offer, given his injury history in recent years.

Dani Carvajal has expressed interest in moving to MLS once his contract with Real Madrid ends. He stated in an interview that he would like to try a league outside of Europe, with MLS being a candidate. His contract with Real Madrid is set to expire after the 2024-25 season, and he could potentially move to the United States as early as next summer if he does not extend his contract.

Dani Carvajal has expressed that he would not rule out the possibility of ending his career away from Real Madrid, but under the condition that he would not play against Real Madrid, in the Champions League, or in Spain. He mentioned Al-Gharafa as a probable destination, where his friend and brother-in-law Joselu currently plays. Carvajal's contract with Real Madrid expires on June 30, 2026.
