According to Germanijak, Adu-Adjei is the second-highest transfer priority at the club, and Wrexham is currently in the leading position to sign him, though the situation could change quickly.

It is considered likely that Daniel Adu-Adjei, a 21-year-old English and Ghanaian centre-forward, will leave Rijeka soon. Numerous clubs, including Wrexham, are reportedly interested in the player. A potential move to Wales is said to depend entirely on the transfer fee, and Rijeka is described as very willing to sell him. Adu-Adjei joined the Croatian club in August 2025 and has a contract that runs until 2029. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €2.50m.
