There has been talk that a group including AFC Bournemouth might buy Rijeka. Daniel Adu-Adjei, a 20-year-old English and Ghanaian forward, has joined the Croatian club on a permanent transfer, signing a four-year contract. When asked about a potential future return to Bournemouth, Adu-Adjei stated that he does not look that far ahead and that his plans and thoughts are currently focused only on Rijeka. He also said that he sees the club as a place from which significant transfers to major leagues occur and noted that playing for Liverpool would be an ideal future scenario for him.
