Dajaune Brown has moved from Derby County to join League Two side Rochdale on loan. The striker, who was deployed on the wing during Derby's pre-season, last played against Rotherham on Tuesday before being taken off at half-time. Brown stated he was happy the transfer was completed and was excited to show what he can do. Rochdale's head coach, Ian Watson, said the club was delighted to complete the deal for a player they had been pursuing all summer after identifying him early on, and described the signing as a real coup. The move is intended to provide Brown with more playing time following a challenging loan at League One's Port Vale last season, where he made only eight starts in 16 league appearances.
