Real Sociedad may have explored signing Japanese attacker Daichi Kamada on a free transfer. Kamada is available after his contract with Crystal Palace ended. He is a teammate of Take Kubo on the Japan national team, for which he has earned 51 caps and scored 14 goals. Kamada, who will turn 30 in August, previously played for Lazio in Serie A and Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga. It is reported that Villarreal and Fiorentina are among several other clubs that are also considering him. In the 2025/2026 Premier League season, Kamada made 28 appearances and provided one assist for Crystal Palace. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €10.00m.
