Cyril Khetir, a former Algerian youth international, has signed with Beerschot from Aubagne FC in Ligue 3. He has signed a two-year contract with an option for extension at Beerschot. The transfer was completed without a fee as he was acquired on a free transfer. Khetir was highly rated by Beerschot, having been on their list for some time, and had been in contact with the club previously. Beerschot's Sporting Director, Murat Akin, expressed confidence in Khetir's potential to play an important role in the upcoming season.
