Crysencio Summerville could be sold this summer if West Ham are relegated. Reports claim this would result in a potentially significant amount of money for Leeds due to a sell-on clause included in his sale to the Hammers.

West Ham United have admitted they will have to sell players even if they remain in the top division, after posting losses of £104m for the 2024-25 financial year. Players such as Crysencio Summerville may have to be sold in the summer.

Keith Wyness believes that Crysencio Summerville could leave West Ham United for a new challenge in the summer even if West Ham avoid relegation. He also believes that if relegation happens, Summerville will be one of the first to leave to help address the financial gaps that come with moving to a lower division.

According to former West Ham chief scout Mick Brown, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side could be forced to sell Crysencio Summerville if they get relegated. Brown stated that West Ham will have real problems if they go down, as it becomes incredibly difficult to keep their best players who want to be on top money and playing in the Premier League. He expects Summerville will be one of those players, as he has recently shown he can perform in the Premier League, which will lead to interest in him. Brown added that there is every chance the club could go down and if offers come in for players like Summerville, he thinks they might be forced to let him go.
