América de Cali is pursuing Uruguayan goalkeeper Cristopher Fiermarín, who was a finalist in the Liga 2025-II and recently concluded his contract with Tolima. The Colombian club has submitted an initial offer to Defensa y Justicia, the team that owns his rights, for a one-year loan that includes a purchase option. Defensa y Justicia is currently studying the proposal and is expected to provide a response in the coming days.
